Hello, hello! Welcome back to Top Ten Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic: Book Series I Want to Catch Up On (or series you’d like to start)
I’ve missed a few TTT posts with my little break from the online world, and I really wanted to go back to this one. I used to be a huge series binger. These days I have a really terrible habit of reading a book 1, and then never touching the series again. Might the rest of the books be on my shelves already? Maybe. Yet I still don’t pick them up! If I’m being very critical of my reading habits, I know exactly why. Over the last couple of years, I’ve gotten more and more into reading from prize lists and I also have the very privileged problem of being sent books by generous publishers. This has led to me prioritising those books more than anything else. In the last few months though, I have been trying to shift this a little, and I am hoping to go back to picking up whatever I fancy (for the most part – those ARC’s do need reading!). So with that, the below books are the first books in series I really, really want to continue! This does not include ongoing series where I am caught up.

Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels, 3/10)
Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett (Witches, 2/6)
Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett (Emily Wilde, 1/4)
All Systems Red by Martha Wells (The Murderbot Diaries, 1/8)
Godkiller by Hannah Kaner (Fallen Gods, 1/3)
The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman (A Thursday Murder Club Mystery, 1/5)
Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer (Southern Reach, 1/5)
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman (Dungeon Crawler Carl, 1/8)
The Empress of Salt and Fortune by Nghi Vo (The Singing Hills Cycle, 1/8)
Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett (The Founders Trilogy, 1/3)
