Happy Wednesday!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam Taking On A World of Words, where bloggers answer the following questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?
Just Finished…

In the last week I have finished 1 book. I went away over the weekend and didn’t read any, but that is totally fine since I had a lovely time.
I finished Camp Zero by Michelle Min Sterling. This is a climate fiction, and while I did enjoy it overall it was waaaay off what I was expecting from the blurb! I thought it was about displaced people arriving at a camp they had been sent to and how they survive there. It is this if you squint, but there’s a lot more about the rich people behind it than I was expecting. I enjoyed some character chapters more than others, and I think the messaging is very good.
Currently…
I’m currently reading 2 books. I won’t talk about Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer again, but it’s still here.
I am still finishing up Beauty of the Beasts by Jo Wimpenny, a non-fiction about the lesser-loved creatures of the world. I didn’t pick it up last week, and I am nearly done with it, so I will be focusing on finishing that (hopefully today!). I am really enjoying this one, it’s written so engagingly.

Up Next…
My next non-fiction will be Ocean by David Attenborough and Colin Butfield. For fiction, I have a new ARC I need to read, Her Roots Reclaimed by Danielle Lauren, so that will be next.
