Happy Wednesday! I’m honestly not sure where the week has gone! This is my only non-scheduled post for the next 10 days or so as my sister is visiting, so again, apologies if I am slow to respond to any comments!

What are you currently reading?

I’m finally reading Falling in a Sea of Stars by Kristen Britain and I cannot contain my excitement. I am sure most of you know by now how much I adore the Green Rider series, and to have an eArc of book 8 has made my year. I’m flying through despite the size of it, 82% now and aaaaaaa!

I’m still reading The Possibility of Tenderness by Jason Allen-Paisant as my non-fiction book. I admittedly have slightly abandoned it because of Green Rider, but I am still really liking it.

What have you recently finished?

I recently finished The Sun Blessed Prince by Lindsey Byrd. Overall I really enjoyed it, but there was a point towards the middle where I got a bit meh with where I thought the romance aspect was going. By the time we got to the end however, I was more than happy – the ending was fantastic and now I am excited for book 2.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Is A River Alive? by Robert Macfarlane will be my next non-fiction read as I am still working through the Wainwright Prize shortlisted books. I’ve heard great things about this one.

My next fiction read will be Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. It’s short and sweet, which I think I need after some long books, and it’s one of my Friends Recommend picks – a challenge I have slightly abandoned of late!
