Happy Wednesday! It’s been another busy week here, lots of decorating has started! I have so much paint under my fingernails but it’s definitely worth it to brighten the house up. The shed and some raised beds also arrived, so more garden projects are imminent.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly recap meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words, where we share what we’re reading and what’s up next on the tbr.

What are you currently reading?
I am flying through And So I Roar by Abi Daré, one of the books shortlisted for The Climate Fiction Prize. A very powerful read so far that I’ll very likely finish today.
I have also just started Dissolution by Nicholas Binge. I loved Ascension and I’m really excited for his newest book.
What have you recently finished?
I finished three books since last Wednesday. The first was I Love You S’more by Auriane Desombre. I am taking part in a blog tour for this in early April, so keep an eye out for that review.
I then finished The Girl With the Louding Voice by Abi Daré. I had started And So I Roar and realised that it was a sequel, so found book 1 and read that first. Much like book 2 it is a very powerful story, and I will have a review soon.
I also finished up Where Shadows Bloom by Catherine Bakewell. This was a fun ya sapphic standalone.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I have a few books on my tbr that I want to pick up very soon, so either one or all of the below!
- Orbital by Samantha Harvey
- Pathfinding by Kerri Andrews
- Briefly Very Beautiful by Roz Dineen
- The River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar
