WWW Wednesday: 5/3/25

, ,

Happy Wednesday! Time has flown since last weeks check-in, probably thanks to the sunshine allowing for lots of time outside! Alongside the reading I have been planning out my new garden. It’s exciting to move into a new place that has really bare bones outside, with so much potential and I can’t wait to start bringing it to life.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly recap meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words, where we share what we’re reading and what’s up next on the tbr.

What are you currently reading?

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I’m listening to it on audio and my goodness it’s brilliant. I read chapter one yesterday with my breakfast and nearly spat out my tea several times from laughing. I highly, highly recommend picking up the audio for this one, it’s top-notch.

What have you recently finished?

I wrapped up Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett on Monday (and with it finished r/Fantasy Book Bingo!). Such a fun book, cool artefacts, interesting magic and an excellent heist. I’ll do a full review soon.

I also finished Footprints in the Woods by John Lister-Kaye. It was a delightful little book about mustelids, probably one I will come back to again in the future.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m not sure which I will choose but I have a few options:

  • Spells, Strings and Forgotten Things by Breanne Randall (an ARC I am already late for starting)
  • Wisteria by Adalyn Grace (to finish up a series)
  • Mirror Sight by Kristen Britain (the next book in my reread of the Green Rider series)

Regardless of those, I will be restarting The Witch Who Trades With Death by C.M. Alongi as I am on the blog tour later this month! (I started it, put it down and accidentally started something else, oops!)

  1. This is great about your new place, it is always exciting when you can personalise your home! As for the books, it is awesome to hear about the audiobook I am so looking forward to Project Hail Mary I might as well get the audio; I’ve got some credits on Audible! Footprints in the Woods really intrigued me, as well as The Witch Who Trades With Death! guess where those two are going, haha (TBR)
