Happy Wednesday! How has your week been so far? Have you picked up any good books?
I’ve been reading a bit slower this week, but I have really enjoyed what I’ve picked up. The sun has been making rare appearances so I’ve been spending a bit more time outside when I have time instead of reading. I went on a brief, blustery but really gorgeous stroll round a local lake yesterday which was fun and I also have a big hike planned on Friday.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly recap meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words, where we share what we’re reading and what’s up next on the tbr.

What are you currently reading?
Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett. I only started this yesterday and am about 22% in. It’s good fun so far though and I think I’ll really enjoy this one! This is my final book for the current iteration of r/Fantasy Book Bingo.
I also felt pulled to pick up Footprints in the Woods by John Lister-Kaye, which is a short and sweet volume about mustelids (badgers, weasels and the like). I am loving the beautiful writing so far.
I’m still plugging though New Wild Order by Andy Hamilton too. I am enjoying reading this one a little slower, mulling over each part for a little bit afterwards.
What have you recently finished?
The only book I finished since last Wednesday is A Harvest of Hearts by Andrea Eames. This was a fun, easy read, and had big Howls Moving Castle vibes which I liked!
What do you think you’ll read next?
Once I finish Foundryside I plan to pick up Spells, Strings and Forgotten Things by Brianne Randall as my next fiction.
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir is also ready to go as an audiobook for when I get back to my knitting projects!
