Happy Wednesday! I have been slacking on these posts since the middle of December. My reading has slowed quite a bit so I don’t always have something new every week anymore, but that’s okay!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam Taking On A World of Words, where bloggers answer the following questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?
Just Finished…

So far in January I have finished two books, but the first one I can’t talk about yet.
The last book I finished was Ancient by Luke Barley, after Profile Books very kindly sent me a proof. I love woodlands, and I think that I am most likely going to work in/with them when I graduate so this was perfect for me. Luke is such a knowledgeable person and I learned so much from this book.
Currently…

I’m doing one book at a time at the moment, and my current read is The Ballad of Perilous Graves by Alex Jennings. I’m reading this for an event on Pagebound and it’s really fun. It’s a unique fantasy set in New Orleans, I’m slightly confused but also just along for the ride with the wacky magic system and (I think) parallel universes.
Up Next…
The next fiction book on my list is going to be The Gods Must Burn by T. R. Moore, another ARC, kindly sent by Solaris. It’s an eco-fantasy and I am very much looking forward to it.
For non-fiction I have two I want to read and I am not sure which I’ll do first. It’ll be either When the Forest Breathes by Susan Simard (eARC), or Frostlines by Neil Shea.
