WWW Wednesday: 16/4/25

,

Happy Wednesday, how has your week been so far? I’ve done a lot less reading since the last check-in as I’ve been focused on my knitting projects and my sister is also visiting!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly recap meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words, where we share what we’re reading and what’s up next on the tbr.

I am still reading Pathfinding by Kerri Andrews, which I am enjoying taking my time with. I’ve also just started Counterattacks at Thirty by Won-pyung Sohn, translated from Korean by Sean Lin Halbert. No thoughts yet, as I am only on the second chapter.

Only one book was read last week, and that was Down in the Sea of Angels by Khan Wong. I really enjoyed this one – a future story where the MC is able to touch an object and see its history, and there are also environmental themes at its core which I am sure you know by now is a big hit for me. I’ll have a full review up on the 24th.

I think I will pick up either Her Majesty’s Royal Coven by Juno Dawson or The Prince Without Sorrow by Maithree Wijesekara. I also definitely want to start The Lost Folk by Lally Macbeth, which is an arc very kindly sent to me by Faber Books.
