Happy Wednesday! I hope you’ve all been having good starts to the week. I’ve been out and about a lot since last Wednesday so I haven’t had a huge amount of time for reading, but I have had lots of fun so it’s all good.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly recap meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words, where we share what we’re reading and what’s up next on the tbr.

What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Where Shadows Bloom by Catherine Bakewell, an arc I am overdue on! It’s got Lady Knights and French palaces and it sounds great!
What have you recently finished?
I finished three books since last check in, the first being Gorse by Sam K. Horton. This book was fantastic, and I shall have a full review up very soon.
I then wanted a change of pace, so I picked up Murder at Gulls Nest by Jess Kidd. (This was kindly sent to me by Faber Books.) It’s a mystery novel set in the 1950’s following an ex-nun, Nora Breen. I loved it – ever since I read my first Agatha Christie in 2023 I have had a soft spot for mystery novels.
Finally, I finished The Great Auk by Tim Birkhead. It’s been such an interesting read, though tough at times. Books like this never fail to remind me why the fight to save our planet is so important.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Wisteria by Adalyn Grace is still on the docket – I am trying to get some series wrapped up! I also really want to pick up The River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar which released last week and looks so gorgeous! Lastly I have been selected for a blog tour for the start of April so I need to get that book read asap too.
