WWW Wednesday: 19/2/25

, ,

Happy midweek all! I hope you’ve had some great reading so far. This week has been much better for me reading-wise than last week. I really fell off in the latter half as one of my beloved cats went missing for 4 days and I couldn’t focus properly to read. He turned up again on Sunday, so we are back to normal business again.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly recap meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words, where we share what we’re reading and what’s up next on the tbr.

What are you currently reading?

The Witch Who Trades With Death by C. M. Alongi. This one genuinely does what it says in the title. It’s about a young witch who makes a deal with death while trying to outrun her past. I’m only a handful of pages in so far, so no real thoughts yet.

What have you recently finished?

Yesterday I finished Shroud by Adrian Tchaikovsky. I’ll have a full review of this one soon since I am on the blog tour for its release, but if you love some alien encounters on a very creepy and atmospheric planet, then this is for you.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up I have more ARCs to read for March, as having my move delayed in January and everything still in boxes put me a bit behind!

A Harvest of Hearts by Andrea Eames will be my next pick. It’s described as ‘whimsical’ which always gets me. I have also seen a review mention a talking cat and that is one way to guarantee it’ll be on my tbr!

I also have Spells, Strings and Forgotten Things by Breanne Randal to read soon. It looks like we’ll have magic, sisters and probably some romance too.

What about you? Let me know what you’ve been reading this week!
